The Bell AH-1Z Viper is the latest of the Cobra line, a twin-engine, four-blade attack helicopter built for the US Marine Corps and its expeditionary, ship-borne way of fighting.
It shares parts and training with the UH-1Y utility helicopter, carries Hellfire and Sidewinder missiles, and pairs its cannon with a modern targeting suite for the close-support mission.
