The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger airliner ever built, a full double-decker that can seat more than 800 people and still feel serenely quiet in the cabin.
A commercial gamble on the hub-and-spoke model, it never sold in the numbers Airbus hoped — but for passengers and spotters alike, the sheer scale of the whale-like A380 remains unmatched.
