The MH-65 Dolphin is the US Coast Guard's short-range recovery helicopter, a licence-built version of the Aérospatiale Dauphin instantly recognisable in Coast Guard orange.
It flies search-and-rescue, law-enforcement and homeland-security missions from cutters and coastal air stations, hoisting survivors from the water in the worst conditions.
